Mixed Media: "Depositions"
The works featured in this gallery are primarily explorations in the realm of collage and artist's books. I mix different media and concepts in bursts of creative activity. I've been keeping journals and collecting images in scrapbooks for more than twenty years. Looking at the pile of these accumulated notebooks prompted me to see a correspondence with geological strata as a record of lost landscapes. The analogy led to the Rock of Ages, Sands of Time project. That theme persists in "Depositions," pictured above.
