Iterations
The Iterations series explores repeated alterations of glitzy advertisements, extracted from old issues of ArtForum, in order to subvert their orientation and identity.  My interventions include cutting, tearing, pasting, photographing and digitally altering the commercial context to create new associations. The driving factor in creating these collages was the story I told myself while manipulating their compositional elements. That chatter has vanished like a dream and here is what remains
