| My paintings originally depicted familiar places and now are moving into uncharted territory. In my baggage I carry a proclivity towards layering, boundary definition, and aerial perspective. I proceed on blind faith and make the maps as I go. The Fan Dango watercolors depict imaginary slabs of petrified wood, carrying on the theme of times past and time passing so prevalent in my work. |
